The Education Cabinet secretary Professor George Magoha is working extra hard to ensure that all students who sat for their 2021 Kenya Certificate Of Primary Education have reported to various Secondary Schools within the country. Currently, the Education Cabinet secretary is conducting a mop up exercise whereby he is visiting families of students who have not joined form one due to cases of poverty.
Big win for private schools as the ministry of education sends this latest message again. The ministry of education has been working closely with the government of Kenya to ensure that the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) becomes successful. With this regard the ministry of education clarified that the Junior Secondary Schools will be hosted by the current Secondary Schools across this country, also the ministry of education is fully committed to ensure that the 100% transition is taking place from the Primary Schools to the Secondary Schools in this country in order to pave way for CBC education system to work as scheduled by the education stakeholders.
