Funeral Home Owner Sentenced To 20 Yrs For Selling Body Parts

Tuesday, a former funeral home owner in Colorado was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for stealing from the families of the dead by dissecting and selling body parts from 560 bodies without permission. In July, 46-year-old Megan Hess pleaded guilty to fraud. She ran Sunset Mesa, a funeral home, and Donor Services, a business that sold body parts, out of the same building in Montrose, Colorado.
