Emerging report indicates that High Court has barred the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) from clearing former Kiambu County County Executive Committee Member Hon Karungo Wa Thang'wa’s as a Senatorial candidate in the August polls. According to the High Court, Hon Karungo wa Thang'wa who is a strong supporter of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) will only be cleared to contest for any elective seats come August once a petition challenging his suitability to hold office is heard and determined.
