The incident was confirmed by Makueni county police commander Joseph Ole Napeiyan who said that the body of the 40-year-old man was discovered by a herder who raises alarm.

According to kamba Station musyi fm, it has been confirmed that police have already opened an investigation following fire outbreak in Mbooni west Makueni County, after which the fire burned one of dormitories in Mbooni Secondary school into ashes. The dormitory is said to be hosting 200 students but no one was involved in that accident of fire outbreak.The whereabouts of the fire outbreak are not yet known since since all students were in classes when the fire erupted.It has been confirmed that the fire has burned school property of a huge amount which is not yet mentioned.
Today 9th July 2021 ,the Mbooni Member of National Assembly(MNA), Hon Kivasu Nzioka joined the president of Kenya, his Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta in his tour to inspect the ongoing construction of Thwake dam which is shared among Mbooni , Kitui rural and Makueni constituencies.
