More than 10 people have been reported dead after the vehicle they were traveling in was involved in a road accident. A 70-year-old man has been burnt to death and his property destroyed by an angry mob in Mbeere North sub county Embu county. It is reported that the deceased identified as Agostino Njeru was attacked and burnt to death by irate residents after he domolished his neighbor's house over a perennial land dispute.
Mbeere South Member of Parliament, Geofrey King'ang'i has challenged the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to change their tactics in the ongoing Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR). The legislator urged IEBC officials to to take voter registration to Churches during church days, to markets during market days and places where there are many people.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party, so far has two presidential hopefuls that are eying the presidential position using ODM ticket. These are Businessman Jimi Wanjingi and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
