A deadly accident has happened along Mombasa Road this Sunday involving a Mash Poa bus and BMW private car. The accident which happened at Maungu is said to have claimed the life of the private car. According to eyewitnesses, it has been reported the BMW driver was trying to overtake between two trailers but ended up ramming on the bus that was heading in the opposite direction, leading to a deadly head-on-coalition.
Maungu police inspector Job Oyagi recovered Kenyan shillings 450,000 belonging to a family involved in along Nairobi- Mombasa highway. The family members who are currently receiving treatment expressed gratitude and said that all their money and clothes were returned. Inspector Oyagi confirmed there was an attempt of robbery at the scene before police intervened.
