AFC Leopards Loses to 10-man Bandari FC at the Coast among other FKF Premier League Matchday Results
Results from today's FKF Premier League matchday four have been posted as follows. Kakamega Homeboyz' unbeaten run continued as they managed to beat visitors Posta Rangers, 2-0 with the goals coming from Omondi and Okoth in the 17th and additional minutes of the second half. Homeboyz are now second in the Premier League table with 9 points tying with Nairobi City Stars who have played an extra match.
The Kenyan top flight football professional league, Betking premier league is holding midweek fixtures this week to cover up for the time wasted during the three week break. In this regards, the standings in the table have changed after the Wednesday fixtures were executed. Before we look at the table, let's see the results of the games played on Wednesday.
The Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) was back in action today with four matches played as from 1 PM EAT. Gor Mahia maintained their top spot as they played out a 1-1 draw against newly promoted Police FC. Clifton Miheso, a former Gor Mahia player scored for his side in the 61st minute, 7 minutes after Omondi had scored the first of the match.
AFC Leopards are set to sign a number of players in the closing stages of the transfer window set to close on Tuesday 2nd November 2021. They haven't been able to sign any players so far since serving a transfer ban imposed on them by FIFA after failing to pay their former players and coach.

Today AFC Leopard suffered their second consecutive match loose against Bandari FC at Mbaraki grounds. Bandari FC got their first goal through Kasumba Umar in 21st minute. AFC Leopard level through penalty kick from their captain Issac Kipyegon . Before halftime Bandari scored again a penalty kick from Wadri thus ending halftime 2-1 in favor of Bandari FC.
The Kenya's top flight league (FKF Premier League) action continued over the weekend with most of the matches played on Friday and Saturday. Kariobangi Sharks was to play against Gor Mahia football club, however the game was postponed reason being that Gor Mahia was engaged in CAF match.
Sunday Fixtures Nairobi City Stars will welcome Bidco United in the first match of day at the Nyayo National Stadium. Kariobangi Sharks will play Wazito at Moi International Sports Center (Kasarani). Sharks defeated Vihiga Bullets by 3 goals to nil early this week on Wednesday. After losing to the newly promoted club Police FC, Nzoia faces Mathare United who secured victory of 2-1 against Sofapaka.
Today there was only one match played at Kenya Premier League and the battle was between two newbabies in the league that is Talanta Fc vs Vihiga Bullets. Talanta FC hosted Vihiga Bullets at Kasarani Annex ground. Talanta Fc at first half they were leading with one goal that was scored in 10th minute by Brian Yakhama.

Former Harambee Stars defender David Ochieng alias Cheche penned down his gratitude to his former side Mathare United. The experienced defender joined Frank Ouna's side, Mathare United last year on a one-year contract from Saudi Arabian club Al Ansar. However, Cheche has completed his move to FKF Premier League side Posta Rangers under coach Stanley Okumbi in the currently open transfer window for 2021/2022 FKF Premier League season.

Police who were recently promoted to the top flight league lost 1-0 to Kakamega Homeboyz during the opening match of the season and needed a win especially after acquiring new stars in former AFC Leopards striker Mark Makwatta and former Gor Mahia star Clifton Miheso.
Ulinzi Stars are the current FKF Premier League leaders with 7 points from 3 matches. The soldiers are unbeaten in their first three FKFPL matches having secured a 1-1 draw against Bidco United today. In second place is Posta Rangers who have garnered 6 points having played 3 matches.
Mathare United play Ulinzi this afternoon at Thika Stadium as they hope to change the narrative. They have found themselves in a familiar position that they would not want to be associated with. They lost 3-0 to Bandari FC in their league opener in Mbaraka, keeping them rooted at the bottom of the FKF PL league standings, a position they held for the majority of last season.
