According to the police report, the complainant, Abass Ibrahim Khalif reported a case of extortion against the accused Abdullahi Musa who is well known to him, explaining he was distributing messages and videos on his Facebook account with false claims against the businessman.

The suspect identified as, Cyrus Nzoka Maithya, was charged with two offences of stealing, as he alleged to have stolen Ksh16,463 from an MPesa number registered under the name of Harriet Karimi.
City Blogger Abdullahi Musa has been accused of blackmailing cash from a money manager in Nairobi. As per police reports, Musa who professes to work for Nairobi Metropolitan Administrations (NMS) coerced cash from finance manager Abass Ibrahim Khalif and distributed allegations about the said financial specialist on his Facebook page.
Meru County senator Mithika Linturi was on Tuesday charged with attempting to rape a 36-year- old woman. Appearing before Senior Principal Magistrate Martha Nazushi at the Milimani law court in Nairobi, Mithika Linturi was charged that on January 30, 2021 he attempted to rape a 36-year-old woman at Maiyan Villas Hotel in Nanyuki at around 3am.
