A KCPE Candidate Delivers A Child A Few Minutes Before Writing Her Mathematics Exam Paper
A Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidate in Tharaka constituency, Tharaka Nithi County, has today morning welcomed a baby few minutes before sitting for her Mathematics exam. The pupil had been taken to the Marimanti Hospital where she safely delivered her child since her baby's days were due.

In the Tharaka Constituency of Tharaka Nithi County, a candidate taking the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations gave birth. Early today in the morning at the Marimanti Hospital, the applicant gave birth to her child before beginning the mathematics exam. The applicant will continue to take her exam from the hospital, according to Area Education Director Salecio Maringe.

The cases of teenage girls getting pregnant have risen and the government are taking measures to reduce the cases. A Kenya Certificate of Primary Education candidate in Tharaka Nithi county has given birth just when the national examination were kicking off across the country. The girl gave birth on Monday 28th november early this morning at Marimanti hospital.The girl was suppossed to start her Mathematics examination paper when the incident occurred.
