The National Police Service (NPS) has started an investigation into the disorderly and violent scenes that were seen at the Bomas of Kenya on Monday just before IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati announced the results of the presidential election. On the day of the incident, unidentified men stormed the podium and interrupted Chebukati's planned speech; he had to be escorted away by security personnel. The National Police Service has come out to update Kenyans on their investigations concerning the recently completed general elections. In the first scenario, investigative agencies are currently investigating the mysterious disappearance and murder of 53-year-old Daniel Musyoka who was IEBC returning officer for Embakasi East Constituency. According to National Police Service, the deceased went missing on August 11, 2022 and his body found about 4 days later on August 15, 2022 in Loitoktok, Kajiado County.
