Maliki Boys High School located in Tranzoia County is mourning the untimely demise of their senior school principal. The late identified as Geoffrey Okwach was hardworking man who served the school diligently. Sources revealed that he succumbed to trout cancer, a deadly disease he had been battling for sometime.

Photo:Courtesy Confirming this incident, the office of the governor of Bungoma has revealed that the deceased passed on yesterday in the evening at the hospital where he was receiving medical treatment after being admitted due to throat cancer.
All schools are currently closed. Learners and Teachers are enjoying a one week holiday season. Therefore, all learners are expected to be back to their respective schools as from Tuesday after the holiday season to continue with their studies. The second term will also take a short period, therefore parents, students and teachers are expected to cooperate.
