For the past three General Elections, ODM leader Raila Odinga has been the man to beat in Nairobi. In 2017, Odinga beat President Uhuru in the presidential race while 8 of the 17 constituencies in Nairobi voted for NASA parliamentary candidates. If recent opinion polls are anything to go by, the ODM leader is once again the preferred presidential candidate for most of Nairobians.
Kiambu Woman Representative, Gathoni Wamuchomba Mizani Africa has released an opinion poll showing popularity of parliamentary candidates in Kiambu county. The survey was conducted across the 12 constituencies in Kiambu county and it involved citizens aged above 18 years. The poll shows that out of the twelve constituencies, candidates aligned to Ruto's led UDA party would win in nine constituencies and lose in three constituencies.

Deputy President President William Samoei Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance Party (UDA) is the party to beat in the populous Meru County, this is according to an opinion poll released today by Mizani Africa, a modern Pan-African research firm. The poll showed that in the parliamentary contest, the party which has a huge following in the county would clinch five seat beating President Uhuru Kenyatta’s newly revamped Jubilee Party which managed to secure three of the seatas.

An opinion poll conducted and released by Mizani has given us a glimpse which political parties are likely to control various parliamentary seat in the vast and populous Nakuru County in the forthcoming General Elections slated for August 9th 2022. The results by the Kenyan based research firm showed that UDA party of Deputy President William Ruto which is now over one year and 6 months old is likely to control seven of the parliamentary seats come August.

It is now emerging that the UDA aspirant who died yesterday was found unconscious on the Eldoret-Malaba Highway moments before death. Mark Bowen Sawachan who was the UDA nominee for the Sambirir ward seat had a broken leg and injuries on his head and was taken to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital where he died.
Western Kenya Sanitation Project (WKSP) through funding from United States Agency for International Development(USAID) has injected Ksh2.8billion to address sanitation challenges in eight counties in Western Kenya including Busia. Addressing the press today during USAID/WKSP Busia County inception meeting at Hotel Breeze in Busia town, WKSP Deputy Chief of Party, Roselyne Okwiri said the five-year project that ends in February, 2027 is also being implemented in Bungoma, Kakamega, Kisumu, Siaya, Migori, Homabay and Kisii.

The United Democratic Alliance party politician identified as Mark Bowen who was popularly known as Sawachan was found half conscious along the Eldoret Malaba Road, and pronounced dead on arrival at Moi Teaching and referral hospital. The death of Mark Bowen has raised several questions on what might have led to his unfortunate death as police continue seeking for answers in their investigations.
The police are investigating an incident where UDA aspirant lost his life on unclear circumstances. Mark Bowen who is also known as Sawachan was found lying unconscious in the middle of the road along Eldoret-Malaba road. Days after announcing that the incumbent MP John Ka Wanjiku had been handed a direct ticket to fly the UDA Party flay in the Kiamba constituency, the UDA party elections board has announced fresh parliamentary nominations in Kiambaa. An Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) teacher from Busia County who is living with disability has thanked God that saw his terms of employment changed from contract to permanent and pensionable.
