KPLC Announces Monday Long Hours of Electricity Blackout in the Following Parts of the Country
Kenya Power has announced another planned power interruptions for tomorrow Monday, November 21. Notice issued by KPLC indicates that parts of Central, parts of Nandi, Isiolo and Western are expected to receive long hours of electricity blackout as from 9 am until 5 pm. Parts of Central Rift region especially Ndaragwa, Wiyumirerie, Penari, Maili Nne, Kiandege, Salama, Baari, Gwa Kungu, Ndaragwa,Shamata, Olbolsat, Wiyumirerie, Makutano, Uruko, Jambo Mutara, Lalanasi and adjacent customers will receive long hours of electricity blackout.

In Isiolo town, a lorry hauling cement reportedly crushed a bodaboda rider to death. Approximately 6 kilometres from the accident site, in Maili Nne, Meru county, the trailer reportedly had a break failure. According to reports, the trailer struck a second vehicle 300 meters from the scene before veering off course and striking a Toyota Land Cruiser owned by one of the MCAs, a pickup, and a truck.
