Kenya Police Service was thrown into deep mourning after the sudden demise of a police officer. The late Azaria Godo was a dedicated Kenyan who served the country with so much love. Sources revealed that he was based at Magarini sub county. Media reports indicated that he succumbed to kidney failure, a deadly disease he had been battling for quite sometime.
AWhen 42 years old Zawadi Charo married an agricultural officer, Ngumbao Erastus, her life was good until 1996 when her husband was sacked from a lucrative jobwithout a penny, Erastus was forced to go back home in his rural back in Kaembeni, Magarini Constituency. Before his dismissal, he had built a semi-permanent house with an iron roof and had begun constructing a permanent house with bricks, which then commanded a lot of respect in society.

According to reliable reports, the police officer who was stationed at Magarini sub county, Kilifi County was reported dead today after several days of ailing.
Most areas in Kilifi County are affected by the drought. These are the likes of some part of the Kilifi south, Malindi and Magarini sub-county. The residents of the parts affected are suffering into an esten where their livestock die. The lack of water and fresh pasture leads the death of animals.

The deceased identified as Azaria Godo was a key player at the National police service who displayed a good conduct while discharging his roles at the service. His death comes only few months after a senior police officer attached to Mombasa police station also succumbed to Covid-19 disease two days after his wedding.

A police officer passed away on Friday, July 23 after he was hit and run over by a motorist in Kilifi County. The incident occurred at Kwa-Kaoge, along Malindi-Lamu road at around 9 pm, one hour to curfew. Police constable Matrix Mtawali Kazungu was riding a motorcycle when he encountered his death.
