Former Migori governor Okoth Obado has decided not to participate in ODM leader Raila Odinga's planned protests against the government the following week. As the leader of the opposition, Raila has stated that he wants to try and put an end to President William Ruto's purported impunity by using the rallies.

Okoth Obado is a Kenyan politician from Migori County in the Lake Side region of Kenya. He is the immediate retired incumbent Governor for Migori County.
