The Luo Community living in Kenya are all assumed to be coming from Nyanza, a former south western province in Kenya bordering the former Western province and the Rift Valley. Currently, the former Nyanza province consists of six counties namely; Kisumu, Siaya, Homa Bay, Migori, Kisii and Nyamira.
