Political Analyst Ambrose Weda has argued that the former Finance Minister Musalia Mudavadi has emerged as the most stubborn presidential aspirant among the leaders who have since announced their 2022 political ambitions. Khwisero MP Christopher Wangaya Aseka has warned that Luhya politicians who are opposed to ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi's bid for the Presidency would be rejected by the voters. Aseka said the policians supporting Mudavadi's opponents would be rendered politically irrelevant come next year. He predicted that the ground would also be too hostile to them and that even those vying for political seats would have nowhere to campaign.
ANC leader Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi has ruled out vying as a runningmate of any of his opponents eyeing the Presidency.
