Gor Mahia's Benson Omala Ready To Quench His Goal Scoring Thirst In Upcoming Cecafa U20 Championship
Gor Mahia forward Benson Omala said that he is keen on quenching his goal thirst by scoring at least five goals for the Emerging Stars (Harambee Stars U20) should coach Stanley Okumbi include him in his final squad for the tournament that will take place in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia next month.
Am sure a good number of those who follow Kenyan football and in particularly Kenyan club football championships are conversant with the latest news that up to now many of us are yet to digest; Benson Omalla terminated his 6 months contract with Sweden based Linkoping for reasons that he was played out of position, yes he back at home training with GorMahia where supposedly he'll be able to play where he's positionally fit and coach Pinto has welcomed him back saying that his return is timely advantageous.
Benson Omalla, is a Kenyan striker who a month ago was on his dream move in Europe, playing for Linkoping, a team in the Swedish top tier League. Omalla moved to Sweden in an initial 6 months loan move from Gor Mahia, in April(weeks after he cleared his form 4 at Kisumu Day) and it was hoped he will turn the move into a permanent deal due to his proven goal scoring ability.
