Alexander Mwangi, a 51-year-old man of Mathangauta village in Likia, Njoro sub-county was buried at dawn with no word of prayer according to his wishes. Alexander Mwangi had given instructions to be buried within 24 hours and before the morning of the next day while he was alive. He succumbed to meningitis at Kerugoya hospital. A middle aged man has been arrested by the Njoro Sub-county police officer after having stubbed his girlfriend on throat and then after she died the man burned her body at Nakuru. The man is said to have 34 years of age as the girlfriend who has been mentioned as Mercy Njeri Mbatia is aged 23-year-old.
