Bandits in the Ol Moran area Laikipia County killed one person and stole tens of cattle. This has occurred in the latest attack which happened at the Wanguache area. The area is still under heavy security despite the invasion by the bandits. The area had regained calm for two weeks after the deployment of heavy security.
Banditry attacks in Laikipia County are still underway despite the ongoing police patrols in the region. Yesterday afternoon, suspected bandits alleged to have come from Baringo County stormed Wangwaci village in Laikipia West, and gunned down a 65-year-old man named Charles Maina. Githiga ward MCA Peter Thomi, who confirmed the incidents said the armed bandits fled with 25 heads of cattle.
