Nakuru county Governor Lee Kinyanjui is in Jubilation after the Senate approved the application to confer Nakuru municipality to a City Status. The approval of Nakuru to be a City was passed by the Senate under the stewardship of Senator Kajwang. Nakuru now joins the league of Mombasa City, Kisumu City and the country's capital Nairobi City this becoming the fourth City in the country.
