It is no doubt that retired President Mwai Kibaki will go down as one of the best heads of state the country will ever have based on his track record especially on infrastructure development and improvement of the economy. And to add some cream on his presidential ice, especially during his second term, he guided the country in the right direction regarding his succession, by failing to support a specific candidate and letting all the boxers in the ring to fight it out.
Michael Christopher Wamalwa Kijana was born in Sosio, a village near Kimilili in Kenya’s Bungoma district. Wamalwa was the son of an influential MP, William Wamalwa. Kijana's leading skills started developing after he joined students council in highschool. He was a identified as the best debater and head boy in secondary school.
