Six family members go blind in Migori county.

According to the nation media six family in Migori County have become blind in a worrying incident leaving the residents of Thim Jope village in Uriri Sub County in disbelief.A woman together with her four children, ages between 7 and 24 years had to be rushed to Migori County Referral Hospital to be treated.A 12-year-old boy from the family lost his eyesight and then died in unknown circumstances while at their home.Omondi George said that his wife and their children were in good health when they went to sleep on Friday.

Residents of Thim Jope village in Uriri Subcounty in Migori county have been treated to a rare spectacular drama after six members of a family have been reported to have gone blind in a bizzare incident that has left the residents in shock. A woman in her middle ages and her four children have been rushed to Migori County Refferal Hospital for treatment after being alleged to have gone blind while a twelve year old boy from the same family lost his eyesight and died instantly in unclear circumstance in Benga village.

Panic and fear has engulfed Thim Jope village in Migori county after six members lost their sight mysteriously overnight. According to reports, the family ate their supper well on Friday night but upon waking up on yesterday morning, they were totally blind. The six includes a mother,her four children and a nephew they used to live with.The nephew,12, is reported to have convulsed,collapsed and died yesterday midday.
