The agreement, which was reached during the China-Africa Fruits Promotion Conference that took place in Nairobi and was spearheaded by the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency (KEPBA), Wilfred Marube, will enable Kenya to export frozen avocados to China.

On Tuesday, November 29, Kenya and China agreed to a trade agreement that will bring in billions of dollars for local farmers. Kenya will sell frozen avocados to China under the terms of a pact that was inked in Nairobi at the China-Africa Fruits Promotion Conference. The agreement which will help local farmers was driven by the Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency (KEPBA) whose CEO is Wilfred Marube.
