Kenyatta University Students Leaders Have Rejected The Institutions Demand To Increase Fees
Students at Kenyatta University have rejected a plan to raise tuition costs at colleges and universities.Vice chancellors of state-run universities have proposed raising tuition from the existing Sh16,000 per semester starting in September of the next year.The government has also endorsed the idea, as Principal Secretary for Higher Education Simon Nabukwesi revealed to Parliament that a technical committee had informed the Cabinet about the fee rise.
