Bad News to Teachers As Report Reveals that "Only 3000 Teachers Will be Promoted" by TSC, Checkout.
Recently, TSC announced promotions of 14,738 teachers to leadership positions. The latest report indicates that out of 14,738 promotion vacancies advertised by TSC, Only 3000 teachers may be given promotion by the commission. This is according to The Migori branch Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) Executive Secretary Orwa Jasolo who emphasised that from a total of over 110,000 post-primary teachers only 3,000 teachers are set to be promoted.
