The National Assembly has now made recommendations that Teachers who have attained higher qualifications while in service are likely to be promoted.
KNTPG Dead on Arrival? Blow to Teachers After Transfer Case Quashed
Blow to five teachers who had challenged their transfer to Kwale,Lamu, Kitui and Homabay counties after their transfer case quashed by the court. Court ruled that the Kenya National Teachers Pressure Group (KNTPG) lacked jurisdiction to lodge a case. According to the report, the commission assured that the transfer were just, reasonable and non discriminative and the allegations aforementioned lacked evidence.
