The Office of the President has backed Raila Odinga and the Azimio team's push to have the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission employ a manual register beside the Electronic register on the voting day as Deputy President William Ruto's team moves to court. The Office of the President led by Uhuru's Principal Legal Advisor Attorney General Kihara Kariuki has said that they support the call by the Azimio team in support of other seven lobbies to have a manual register deployed during the voting day, saying that it will be of great imporatlltance in the case the electronic system fails.
