The Kenya Defense Forces has been serious with eradicating the Al Shabaab menace that has been bedeviling the Eastern Africa region for the past few years in bombings and other coordinated attacks. Kenya has suffered the brunt of these attacks with many Kenyans losing their lives thanks to the Al Shabaab militants who strike the country then disappear to places that are unknown as per the reports that we have.

President Uhuru Kenyatta's former majority leader, Aden Duale, has claimed that the Kenya Defense Forces Commander in Chief was purportedly turned over to him. It has been reported that President Uhuru Kenyatta was supposedly handed over as the Commander in Chief of the Kenya Defense Forces at Moi Air Base by Kenya Kwanza Alliance candidate Duale.
After the General Election results are announced, President-elect William Ruto will begin receiving briefings from the relevant national security agencies. The National Intelligence Service (NIS), the Kenya Defense Forces, and the National Police Service are among the organizations (NPS). On Monday, a terror suspect was arrested after attempting to sneak into Nyali military barracks in Mombasa County. Ali Hassan Mzee attempted to gain access into the highly guarded military facility claiming to have lost his way. Hassan caught the attention of military guards on duty after they noticed a suspicious person at the beach.
The past several hours have seen President Uhuru Kenyatta touring Mombasa County and launching a number of significant initiatives. Given that he will leave office in a few days, the President has made sure that his legacy will endure for years to come. He had previously started a number of other initiatives that are crucial to giving the young people of Mombasa County jobs.
