According to Senator Silvia Kasanga, Wiper party leader has lacked funds for campaigns hence they were busy sourcing for funds. According to her, the party has lacked support ahead of the 2022 general election part of the reason Kalonzo has not been campaigning. Senator Kasanga made it clear that the party has lacked resources to spearhead its agenda forward.
