Kiambaa; Jubilee's Kariri Njama & UDA's Kawanjiku Feuds Play Off in DP Ruto's Rally in Gachie -Video
Jubilee's Party candidate in the past Kiambaa by-elections, Kariri Njama and United Democratic Alliance Party candidate, Kawanjiku political feud today played off in Deputy President, William Ruto's rally in Gachie, Kiambu County. As Kawanjiku dragged the Jubilee party for refusing to concede defeat in the ended polls for Kiambaa by-elections.Saying they (Jubilee Party) have decided to engage in court battles.
Njuguna Wanjiku today badly cornered and humiliated Sabina Chege over matters around the ongoing voter registration in the country. According to Njuguna Wanjiku, voter registration has not started in Kiambaa because his case and that of Kariri Njama is pending in court following Sabina Chege and her team move.
Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Amollo Odinga with his close allies from Mount Kenya region led by Kiambu governor James Nyoro, Kanini Kega, Maina Kamanda, Esther Passaris, Rachel Shebesh, Kariri Njama and many others have dug into Kiambu's grassroots in Kigumu, Kamothai, Ruiru and other several areas with the Azimio La Umoja message.
Deputy president William Ruto has a long schedule of political engagements in different parts of the country. The vibrant politician has been crisscrossing different parts of the country to empower local traders and small business people. The deputy president will visit Kiambaa constituency next week for a series of political engagements.

Former kiambaa constituency member of Parliament aspirant honorable Kariri Njama today Monday, 9 August 2021 attended a crucial burial ceremony of the late Mzee David Kinyua Wahome in the kieni constituency, Mzee Kinyua was father to former minister Henry Gichuhi Kinyua, father Charles Muthee among others. The burial ceremony comes barely 30 days after honorable Kariri Njama was floored by Deputy President William Samoei Ruto's United Democratic Alliance party Kiambaa Member of Parliament elect honorable John Njuguna Wanjika after getting 21,773 votes trouncing Jubilee’s Kariri Njama who garnered 21,263 votes in just concluded hotly contest by-election.

The newly elected Kiambaa MP John Njuguna Wanjiku has been sworn into office. Njuguna, who was chosen on United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket, was sworn into office by the National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi. He currently replaces Hon Paul Koinange who surrendered to Covid-19 in March.
