Woman from Karamoja have asked the government for protection as they push husband to hand over guns to the government and avoid the several clashes that have been witnessed. While speaking to our sources in different interviews the woman have highlighted that they are tired of leaving in circumstances of war and cattle rustling that have seen several women widows after there husband are shot and killed in raid battles.

At least two hundred and nineteen prisoners have been confirmed to have escaped from prison in Uganda. According to the news seen and confirmed by the star, the prisoners managed to escaped with fifteen guns but unfortunately two of them were killed by security personnel. Kenyan government has repartriated 35 Ugandans after what the country's police say is an operation to arrest foreigners without proper documentation. The victims are mostly female from Napak district in Karamoja, Uganda. The returnees were received by Ugandan authorities in charge of immigration. In northern Uganda police officers will be arresting people who buy more than five chapatis from roadside vendors. Karamoja region police commissioner Michael Longole disclosed security intelligence received by the Ugandan authorities suggested some people who buy excess chapatis from roadside vendors are up to no good.
