Updates: Martha Koome's Judicial Service Commission Declares Position of Chief Kadhi Vacant

Sheikh Muhdhar served as chief khadi for 11 years, being the first under the new constitution of 2010.
Twist as New Details Emerge About Idd-Ul Fitr
A few days ago, the interior Cabinet Secretary, Fred Matiang'i declared Tuesday 03rd May as a national holiday to celebrate the muslims day (Idd-Ul Fitr). However the Chief Kadhi Ahmed Muhdhar has reversed the previous updates as he announces that the Idd-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Monday 2nd May 2022.This is after the moon was sighted.This means that Tuesday 3rd May might no longer be considered a public holiday.
