Harambee Stars and Nkana FC midfield play maker Duke Abuya was on the starting eleven as his teams thrashed Prison Leopards 2-1 in a match played on sunday 23rd May at the Nkana Stadium.Nkana got the lead in the first half when Gilroy Chmwemwe unleashed a shot which beat Leopards goalkeeper.The visiting team got their equaliser a minute before halftime through David Obash.Both teams came in strongky for the second half looking for a match winner but it was Nkana FC who managed to carry the day after Freddy Tshimenga scored the winner in the 87th minute.Elsewhere,it was forty five minutes for Harambee Stars and Napsa Stars FC defender David Odhiambo 'Calabar' as they were thrashed 4-2 by Green eagles to remain in the relagation zone.Eagles scored the opener in the 3rd minute through Annos Tembo before Napsa equalised in the 7th minute through Bornwell Mwape.through a spotkick before adding another one in the 45th minute through a direct freekick to give the pentioners a halftime lead.Napsa equalized on the 59th minute through Linekar Mwikisa and added another one on the 80th minute to make the scores 3-2.Napsa wrapped things up in the dying minutes of the game and emerge 4-2 winners.Another Kenyan in the team Shaban Odhoji was not in the matchday squad.Elsewhere,Jonah Ayunga was maintained by Bristol Rovers after they were relagated to league two.He managed to score twice in 30 appearances for the team.
