RIP: Baricho High School Teacher Dies in Road Accident
Baricho High school fraternity is in mourning following the death of a Maths and Physics teacher Mwalimu Mike Gicheru. The teacher perished in a grisly road accident along Kagio- Baricho highway. The sad news were announced on Facebook by Kirinyaga county senatorial seat aspirant James Kamau Murango. James Karangu mourned the teacher as a hardworking, jovial and a great disciplinarian who worked tirelessly in moulding the future of students who passed through his hands.
Former Attorney General, James Karangu, Passes on Aged 86
Mr. James Karugu passed on yesterday at his home in Kiambu, family confirmed the news to NTV. He was the second attorney general after independence. Mr. Karugu, who has been out of the spotlight for the previous 40 years, ever since resigning on June 2, 1981, during the turbulent years of the Nyayo regime.
