Athletics Kenya in collaboration with the united nations environmental program (UNEP) has Tuesday launched air quality monitoring sensors in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu county, and Kapsabet and Nandi counties. The newly appointed Cabinets Secretary for Sports Amabu Namwamba was present he emphasized the need for Kenya to plant more trees, “We want our athletes in a clean environment, I believe in future we will have more world records coming to Kenya if we plant more trees and enable our athletes breath clean air as they train.” he said
