It's barely nine months to the general elections. The Kisumu current governor Prof. Anyang Nyong'o is facing hard times to retain his seat as politicians are plotting on how to unseat him. The top most coveted seat has attracted interest from the former governor Ranguma,former Kisumu central MP Ken Obits and MP Outs together with governor Nyong'o.
We are now remaining with eight months and Kenyans will be once again given the golden opportunity to elect leaders of their own choices to represent them in various elective posts. This will be the only time that Kenyans will have the powers to dictate the leadership of the country.

Ranguma is former Kisumu Governor. His daughter Sonya died on the Friday, September 17, 2021 in Atlanta US, leaving behind two children.
The family of former Kisumu County governor has been thrown into deep mourning and at the moment, people are sending condolences to the kin. Jack Ranguma and his wife Olivia lost their firstborn daughter Soni Hawi Ranguma. As reported by TV 47, Soni was ill and they rushed her to hospital for medication.

Politicians intending to vie for the governorship in Nyanza counties are in a state of panic over a proposal by Raila Odinga's ODM party to have delegates choose candidates to run in the 2022 general elections. Orange Democratic Movement, ODM party leader is today landed at Ahero town in Kisumu County before his motorcade proceeded to Kisumu City for a major rally as he aims at consolidating his Nyanza vote rich region. During the burial of Lazarus Obera anotherr tragedy happened leading to the death of another man. A bizzare incident has been witnessed at a burial in Muhoroni kisumu county. This is after mourners were forced to escape for safety as some youths interrupted the program. The incident was caused by the youths who accused the organisers of failing to observe protocol. Things further got out of control leading to one person being fatally stabbed.
