Youths in Matisi area, Trans Nzoia county stormed Matisi Police station hours after Deputy President advised bodaboda riders to walk into the police station and collect motorcycles that were impounded. However, the youths who were armed with Machetes bows, and other crude weapons stormed the station to protest recent incidents of mob justice and lynchings meted out on suspected criminals in the area.

A manhunt has been launched for a cook who poured hot water on three girls in St Monica's Girls school leaving them in serious injuries.
