Security guards urged to turn up in large numbers to be registered as voters

The Kenya National Private Security Workers Union has urged the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, to take up voting registration exercise to the security firms premises to enable the security guards to get registered as voters. The Union's secretary general Isaac Andabwa has said majority of the guards can not afford the bus fare to move from one place to another to get them registered.

Andabwa Pleads With Private Security Firms Not To Sack Guards

Kenya National Private Security Workers Union has prevailed upon employers in the sector to avoid laying off staff despite the ongoing cornavirus pandemic which has disrupted the businesses across the globe.
