Interior Cabinet Secretay Dr Fred Matiang'i Wednesday, October 6, announced Monday, October 11, will be a public holiday. In a statement, Matiang'i said that since the public holiday falls on Sunday, October 10, the celebration will be observed on Monday in accordance with the Public Holidays Act.
