The case on the murder of Dutch tycoon Herman Rouwenhourst and his security guard has taken a new twist with the detectives launching a six-hour raid on the home of main suspect Timothy Omondi with the hope of finding more evidence that could help bring him to justice. Omondi, had bought land in Kiembeni and constructed a house estimated to be close to Ksh 1.5 million just two weeks after the murder of the Dutch tycoon and furnished the house with new furniture and household items worth Ksh 500,000 believed to be proceeds from the crime.
