Department of Agriculture distributed seeds ,seedlings and farm inputs to Kerio Valley Farmers
The department of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries in partnership with Drought Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods Programme (DRLSP) today distributed assorted vegetable seeds, seedlings and inputs to more than 400 Barwessa irrigation Scheme farmers in order to boost productivity along Kerio valley region. The programme aims at building resilience of communties against drought and hunger related effects as well as improve on nutritional levels particularly among women and children. While flagging off
