Born on 27th December 1997,Harun Shakava is a Kenya international footballer who plays as a centreback for Kenya National Team Harambee Stars and 20 times KPL champions Gor Mahia FC.He started his football journey early in the days while still in primary school and also after joining high school level.Upon completion of his high school education,Shakava signed for Kakamega based Kakamega Homeboyz in 2014 playing for them only for a season.Reigning KPL Champions Gor Mahia came looking for his signature and he joined signed for them in 2019.He won five league titles and other titles until 2019 when he decided to move outside the country for greener pastures.In 2019,he landed in Zambia where he joined his fellow country man Duncan Otieno at Nkana Football Club.He helped the Kelvin Kaindu led side to clinch the 2019/2020 MTN FAZ title after finishing on top of the logHe rejoined his former team Gor Mahia FC on 2nd February 2020 after citing non payments by his former side.He is the current Gor Mahia Captain assisted by Kenneth Muguna.He has also featured for the National team Harambee Stars severally.
