The Chief Inspector based at Astu headquarters at Gilgil was robbed of the high amount while having lunch at hotel around1:53pm. The Chief Inspector said he saw the man breaking into the double cabin after he heard his alarm sounding while seated at the hotel enjoying his lunch.
