CS Magoha Dismisses Appeal By KNUT On Salary Increment For Teachers
The Cabinet Secretary for Education, professor George Albert Magoha has dismissed the call by KNUT to increase teachers' salary by 60 percent. Mr Magoha has termed the 60% increment as unrealistic, saying that the government spends most of its annual national on education. “I can tell you that their demand is mostly unreasonable because the government is spending 25.9 per cent of the national budget on education.
