Ferdinand Waititu, the former Kiambu county governor, could lose Ksh52 million he made as a down payment for a property he intended to purchase in Nairobi. Court Revealed that General Properties Limited received the Ksh52 million as 10 per cent of the monies Waititu was supposed to pay for the building.
General Properties Limited took the matter to court and on Friday, October 8, asked the court to rule in its favour and allow them to hold Waititu's deposit. Court documents showed that General Properties Limited received the Ksh52 million as 10 per cent of the monies Waititu was supposed to pay for the building.
Former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu is currently at a high risk of loosing Ksh 52 million after he failed to complete full transaction with General Properties Limited. Waititu had paid the Ksh 52 million to General Properties Limited as a 10% deposit for a prime property in Nairobi Central Business District (CBD) which was valued at Ksh 520 million.
