The Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi has supported Deputy President William Ruto's remarks concerning the recent meetings hosted by the Mount Kenya Foundation Forum and invoked 2022 presidential aspirants. Speaking at Athiru Gaiti in Igembe South, Meru County on Saturday during annual prayer day of SDA leaders, Muturi criticized the forum stating that it is taking Kenyans for a ride by meeting in a hotel, eating expensive food and claim they are deciding on behalf of the region.
