Two women masquerading as Good Samaritans who stole an infant will serve 30 years in jail if found guilty. The duo are accused of stealing the infant and changed his birth notification credentials when the baby's mother was undergoing treatment in intensive care unit. The two identified as Judith Ingahitzu, 47 together with her aunt Florence Musimbi Abulu, 62, were nabbed on Friday 15th October, 2021 by DCI's Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Protection Unit (AHT&CPU) sleuths, who got the wind of the incident anonymously through the DCI hotline.
