It was agony and grief for the residents Kawakungu Village, Kogweno-Oriang West Sub-location, Rachuonyo North Sub-county in Homa-Bay County when two young children were found dead and their bodies dumped into a river on Friday 10th 2021. It is said that the suspect who has since been identified as Silas Odhiambo fled the community and went into hiding after allegedly killing the two innocent children.
Police in the Homabay county are investigating the brutal murder of two young primary school children from Rachuonyo north who were brutally murdered and their bodies thrown into the river. The murder case has left the residents of Kawakungu village in a surprise and moaning. It has been established that the two children were killed by a young man who was working as a casual labourer in a pebble yard.
