A popular comedian from the Western region has today broken the silence after he was on Thursday accused of eloping with someone’s wife. Comedian Evans Wanjala who is among the popular entertainers in Bungoma County was yesterday accused of running away from the county with a high school teacher’s wife.
Caroline Mwongeli the wife of Evans Wanjala revealed some of the private information about them while speaking to Nation as confirmed by TUKO. According to her, this was not the first time her husband was arrested after he allegedly went against the State's laws. During that time he was arrested, Caroline decided to let him not rot in jail as she looked for thousands of money to make him free again.

Evans Wanjala, a serial killer and pedophile suspected of defiling and murdering five young girls between December 31, 2019, and June 15, 2021, has been arrested. According to DCI, the suspect had previously been arrested on grounds of defiling two minors in Kibwezi in 2018 but was later released on bond.
